We are seeking an energetic Primary Music Teacher within our thriving Primary phase to join our team from October 2026. You will teach Music across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Requirements and Experience:
Essential:
• Hold a bachelor's degree in Music or a related field
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Successful primary music teaching experience across EYFS and Primary
• Strong instrumentalist with knowledge of whole class teaching.
• Proven ability to lead ensemble rehearsals.
• Secure knowledge of the English National Curriculum for Music
• Confident use of assessment to support progress for all pupils
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to teach consistently inspirational lessons with a proven track record of delivering results
• Experience with Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures
• Commitment to the well-being and pastoral care of all students within their care
• Innovative, creative, enthusiastic, and results-driven
Desirable:
• Experience working overseas or with international students is an advantage
• Experience of staging productions and concerts in a school setting
• Familiarity with music technology to enhance learning
