Thornton College is a highly successful all-girls school located in rural Buckinghamshire. The recent ISI inspection commented positively on the ‘rapid’ academic progress made by students across the school and the ‘high levels of self-esteem and self-confidence' evident amongst students whilst the CSI inspection in 2024 judged the school as ‘Outstanding’ (CSI 2024) in all areas. Set on a beautiful 25-acre site, we offer a warm and nurturing environment alongside a broad and exciting curriculum and co-curriculum for both day and boarding students.

To start in March/April, we are looking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified Teacher of Dance and PE to manage and deliver the school’s dance programme as well as contributing to the wider Performing art (Drama) and PE provision.

This is a fixed term, part-time role, working two days per week, Tuesday and Thursday (term-time only) with additional support required for specific events such as School Musicals, Dance shows and the School Fete.

Salary: £11,479.00 gross per annum [FTE £28,698.00].
