The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is made up of 44 schools serving preschool-12th grade with approximately 33,000 students in grades TK-12. The District Office hosts twenty-three district level departments that serve the school sites. • All applicants must include resume and cover letter.

• 2 Letters of Recommendations (within 2 years of application date), at least one from administrator or supervisor.)

• Copies of ALL transcripts noting BA Degree (foreign transcripts have been evaluated for US equivalency by a CTC approved agency).

• Screenshot, scan or photo of their CTC credential showing Single Subject Teaching Credential - Music and EL authorization (i.e. BCLAD, CLAD, ELA1, ELAE, ELAM, ELAS, etc.)

• INTERN ELIGIBLE TEACHERS by July 11, 2026 must include a letter of appeasement or letter of intern eligibility from their university

The following employment procedures will be followed:

1. Hiring staff review applications on file of those who possess the appropriate credential for the assignment.

2. Applicants for the specific assignments will be contacted for a scheduled interview.

3. Hiring staff will recommend candidates to Human Resources.

4. Human Resources staff will offer contracts after review of applicant's qualifications.

5. Applicants will report to Human Resources to complete employment papers, sign contract, and receive authorization documents to report to work.

Since referral and hiring are done by Human Resources, applicants should not contact the department directly to request employment.

Nondiscrimination in Employment

The Governing Board is determined to provide district employees and job applicants a safe, positive environment where they are assured of full and equal employment access and opportunities, protection from harassment or intimidation, and freedom from any fear of reprisal or retribution for asserting their employment rights in accordance with law.
