This is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified, inspiring EAL teacher to join our highly successful English department. We are seeking to recruit a EAL tutor to provide academic support individually or in small groups to our international students whom English is not their first language. The successful candidate will be caring and engaging, willing to develop their skills, have an adaptable and flexible approach.
Hampstead Fine Arts College is a leading Sixth and Fifth Form College specialising the Arts and Humanities. It has a distinctive ethos and an enviable reputation for excellence in both academic and creative subjects as well as in its pastoral work. We encourage an atmosphere of mutual respect in which individual talents and ambitions are supported and helped to develop. We have around 60 students in Years 10 & 11 and 120 students in the Sixth Form.
We currently have 6 EAL students on roll.
The successful candidate will support students from Year 9 to Upper Sixth. They must be flexible, motivated and have an ability to communicate enthusiasm. The post is to begin with an immediate start.
Suitable candidates will have the highest aspirations for students' work and academic outcomes.
