Job Overview:

The Director of Music will be responsible for developing and delivering an inspiring music program that engages students from early years through to secondary levels. This role involves curriculum planning, staff leadership, student development, and fostering a vibrant musical culture within the school community.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field (minimum requirement)

- At least 2 years’ experience teaching music within a UK curriculum setting or equivalent international context

- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for music across all key stages

- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively as Head of Department

- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues

- Experience in organizing performances, ensembles, concerts, and extracurricular activities related to music

- Ability to inspire creativity and foster musical talent among students at different skill levels
