Job Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Music and Performing Arts lessons across EYFS, Primary, and Secondary in line with the British curriculum.

• Develop students’ musical knowledge, vocal and instrumental skills, and appreciation of diverse musical genres.

• Organise and lead school choirs, bands, ensembles, and musical productions

• Prepare students for performances, concerts, and school events throughout the academic year.

• Assess, record, and report on student progress in music and performing arts.

• Integrate music with cross-curricular themes and enrichment programmes.

• Manage music resources, instruments, and rehearsal schedules effectively.

• Support school events, assemblies, and cultural celebrations through music initiatives

• Contribute to extracurricular clubs and whole-school creative activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music / Performing Arts or a related field

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/B.Ed. or equivalent)

• Proven experience teaching Music and Performing Arts across Primary and Secondary levels

• Strong instrumental and/or vocal proficiency

• Experience preparing students for performances and school productions

• Familiarity with the British curriculum (UAE experience preferred)

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Passion for inspiring creativity and musical excellence in students
