UPDATE, March 16: The Nashville Symphony has suspended all performances through March 31. The Symphony is closely monitoring guidelines from city, state and federal officials regarding public events, and will continue posting updates via social media and online at NashvilleSymphony.org/coronavirus.
The Nashville Symphony has announced that all four concerts scheduled for March 12-14 at Schermerhorn Symphony Center have been cancelled in the interest of the health and safety of Symphony patrons, musicians, guest artists and staff during the coronavirus outbreak.
The cancelled performances are:
Celtic Journey with the Nashville Symphony
7 p.m. Thursday, March 12
8 p.m. Friday & Saturday, March 13 & 14
The Gold Rush: An American Adventure
11 a.m. Saturday, March 14
The Nashville Symphony is presently working with city officials and fellow venues to determine a coordinated response to the current situation, and will post further updates via social media and online at: NashvilleSymphony.org/coronavirus.
