World Of Jazz: A Global Experience is scheduled for the Firefly Distillery at Friday, April 16, 2021 at 6PM; and also for Charleston Music Hall on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 5PM and 8PM. There also will be a virtual (on demand) performance starting May 1, 2021.

CHARLESTON, SC – Influenced by West African culture and European classical music, an adventurous new style of music emerged in America at the dawn of the 20th century. Jazz quickly found its way beyond the borders of New Orleans, emanating its sound and message around the world. Join your Charleston Jazz Orchestra for WORLD OF JAZZ A Global Experience as we explore the International influence of jazz and the genre’s ability to unite people and cultures from all corners of the globe.
