John Lennon’s musical legacy made a stop in San Diego last week. The John Lennon Educational Bus Tour was at Crown Point Junior Music Academy.
The bus, a multi-million-dollar music and video recording studio on wheels, has toured the country for nearly 20 years promoting music education. Crown Point Junior Music Academy won one of six residency spots for a day aboard the bus.
Young musicians at the academy had the opportunity to record a song and produce a video aboard the rolling studio.
The National Association of Music Merchants Foundation is the lead sponsor of the bus tour. Every year, 500 schools and districts are recognized for supporting music education.
