2018 SBO Scholarship Essay Contest

To the thousands of educators and music students who participated in the 18th Annual SCHOOL BAND AND ORCHESTRA’S Music Student’s Scholarship Essay Contest “What would you say to your fellow classmates who are not in the music program? Why should they consider getting involved?” Ten $1,000 scholarships will be awarded in two categories: Five $1,000 scholarships to students in grades four to eight and five $1,000 scholarships to students in grades nine through 12. Winning entrants will be notified April 2018. Matching music products will be given to the winning student’s school music program.

SCHOOL BAND AND ORCHESTRA is grateful to our co-sponsors whose support and participation has enabled us to award $360,000 in student scholarships and merchandise prizes.
