The New England Conservatory (NEC) will offer virtual school vacation week musical storytelling concerts on YouTube, every day from April 20 to 24 at 11 a.m.

The Musical Storytelling events feature a mix of “meet the instrument” and musical storytelling sessions geared towards young children and families in this online version of the popular annual program.

Each video showcases the unique creative work of one of NEC’s Musical Storytelling Fellows, who spent the school year training as teaching artists in preschools and early elementary classrooms through NEC’s Community Performances & Partnerships program.

While best suited for children ages 3 to 7 years old, listeners of all ages are most welcome to join the fun. Video sessions will range from 20-40 minutes each.

Tuesday, April 21, 11 a.m. | Morgan Pope, bassoon
