The Q Alessi Alto bell features a two-piece, medium-weight yellow brass bell with bell tuning, which allows this instrument to easily project while maintaining a broad and warm sound. The newly designed bell tuning system allows the player to produce a compact and lively sound with a weight distribution more akin to a tenor trombone. The gold brass handslide with yellow brass crook in .485-.495 dual bore produces a rich, clear sound with complex overtones and a wide palette of colors at all dynamic levels.
