All County Music’s president, Fred Schiff, presented a $15,000 check to the Florida Music Education Association (FMEA) at their spring board meeting to establish the Mel and Sally Schiff Music Education Relief Fund.

This fund provides financial aid to FMEA members’ music programs in Florida that have suffered hardships in situations of natural disasters, fire, theft, and other unforeseen circumstances.

“The Mel and Sally Schiff Music Education Relief Fund was established to honor my father and late mother and to recognize those educators who shape the lives of children through music, who at times require some assistance,” explains Schiff. “Music teachers have always been there for us, and this is another way we can support them.”

“We are fortunate and grateful to receive such a generous initial donation, especially from one of our longtime Gold Corporate Partners, All County Music. I encourage all of FMEA’s Corporate Partners to contribute to the fund so that it may become selfsustaining for years to come,” added FMEA executive director, Kathleen D. Sanz, PhD.

All County Music will support this fund with annual donations and individuals are able to make contributions at https://flmusiced.org/flmusicapps/donate/ by entering an amount in the box labeled “Mel and Sally Schiff Music Education Relief Fund.”
