The 3 + 1 non-compensating system helps the student learn about what a compensating system feels like without adding too much weight to the horn. The Prodige also features a large shank receiver which allows the student to push more air through the instrument from their beginner model. A water catcher which is featured on the Besson professional models is also included on the Prodige euphonium. A lightweight case with wheels and backpack straps completes this outfit.
