Alfred’s Danza! A Choral Movement DVD is presented by composers and choreographers Sally K. Albrecht and Andy Beck. The DVD features step-by-step staging suggestions for 12 songs including: “Anything Is Possible”; “Clap Your Hands”; “Rejoice”; “Danza”; “Ezekiel and David”; and “Forty-Second Street.”

12 Folk Songs for Solo Singers is compiled and edited by Sally K. Albrecht and features songs arranged for solo voice and piano for recitals, concerts and contests. The book comes with accompaniment CD.

You Raise Me Up, CD and sheet music book for keyboard accompaniments, was compiled for women’s choirs and ensembles and features worship songs, choral classics and contemporary gospel.

CAD’s E100S Condenser Mic
CAD’s new Equitek 100S large-diaphragm supercardioid condenser mic is said to have the lowest noise floor in its class (3.7dBA) and a smooth vintage tone. The E100S features a bootstrapped, full differential Quadra-FET front-end for high sensitivity and low distortion. A nickel-plated one-inch capsule delivers accurate phasing when miking instruments and a full, rich tone for vocals that is enhanced by the microphone’s extended low-end frequency response.

Additional features include an 80Hz hi-pass filter and a 10dB pad. A twin 5087 output driver provides low drive impedance. RoHS compliant, the E100S also features RF immunity. The 100S is suitable for recording vocals, percussion, acoustic instruments and everything in between. Supplied in a cherry wood carrying case, the E100S also includes a stealth shock mount.

Carl Fischer’s BriLee Music Vocal Series
Carl Fischer Music has released the fourth book in the BriLee Music vocal solo series, Tales of Land and Sea Book/CD: Solo Songs for the Male Changing Voice by Mark Patterson. This book contains a variety of songs, from spirituals and folk songs to originally composed works by Mark Patterson, especially compiled, arranged, and composed for the male changing voice. The songs progress from the “just changing” voice, to selections for young tenors, and finally, to songs for the young baritone. The included CD contains both vocal demo and instrumental tracks for all 10 pieces in the book.
